The Nymph of the Andes

This personal work, titled “The Nymph of the Andes,” is a contemporary figurative painting in oil on canvas depicting a nymph—in this case, an oread—resting on an Andean meadow. Next to her is a vicuña, an animal native to the region. The nymph is the spirit of the mountain visible in the background.
